Connect Grp UK are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our client’s well-established Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) company based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading organisation, ensuring the smooth management and control of project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, manage, and organise all project-related documents to ensure efficient retrieval and access.

Ensure all documentation complies with company and industry standards.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to manage document submissions and approvals.

Track and control the issue and status of all documentation, ensuring updates and revisions are accurately recorded.

Implement and maintain document control systems and procedures.

Support the wider project team in compliance with document control processes.

Assist in audits and ensure documents are stored securely and systematically.

Provide administrative support where necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Document Controller within a Mechanical or Electrical company.

Strong knowledge of document control systems and processes within an engineering or construction environment.

Familiarity with industry-specific standards and compliance regulations.

Proficiency in document management software and MS Office Suite.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
