Electrical Contract Manager - Domestic Contract
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to join our clients team and take charge of a better homes contract. This is a unique opportunity to manage a 5+5 year contract independently, overseeing installation works carried out by the companies skilled electrical engineers and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day projects including reactive work, EICRs, and voids
- Oversee subcontracting work for CCTV and Door Access systems
- Serve as the lead contact for commercial clients, local authorities, and new business opportunities
- Prepare financial budgets and quotations for clients
- Develop and plan work schedules to meet client satisfaction
- Provide leadership and mentoring to a team of engineers
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain NICEIC QS status for the company (after successful completion of QS assessment)
- Conduct site visits, carry out H&S and quality audit reporting
- Manage financial aspects including job costings and WIP figures
Requirements
- Extensive experience in electrical contract management
- NICEIC QS Experience (essential)
- Strong project management and client relationship skills
- In-depth knowledge of electrical industry standards and practices
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the electrical industry
- Experience with CCTV and Door Access systems (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
The Offer
- Salary: £52,000 per annum
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Company Vehicle: Sign-written van (Diesel or Electric)
