This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in fire stopping and demolition work to contribute to high-profile projects within the construction sector. The successful candidate will be working on-site in Central London, delivering essential fire safety measures to support safe demolition processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fire stopping within construction or demolition environments
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards relevant to demolition sites
- Excellent understanding of fire stopping materials and installation techniques
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
- Previous experience working with demolition teams or on demolition sites is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Installing fire stopping systems in compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Collaborating with site management to ensure safety protocols are followed during installation
- Conducting inspections and ensuring fire stopping works are completed to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Assisting in site planning and providing input on fire safety measures during demolition
