We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who possesses experience in estimation within the Groundwork sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate estimator to contribute to our client's growing team and enjoy benefits like pension and healthcare. While this is a perminant role the client will look at contract work for the right person.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, specifically in Groundwork.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and estimating techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for Groundwork projects, ensuring all aspects are covered.
- Review project drawings and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Assess costs associated with labour, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather necessary information and insights.
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure competitive estimates.
