Labourer
Connect Grp UK Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Contract Labourer on behalf of our esteemed client, a developing company based in East Sussex. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to contribute their expertise in general labouring within a dynamic environment. The position is temporary, lasting for 2-3 months, and offers a competitive rate of £14.50 per hour. The role will be based over various sites in Brighton & Worthing so you MUST have a car / own transport.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Labourer in a construction or development setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in outdoor environments.
- Strong understanding of safety and health regulations related to construction sites.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Availability to commit to a temporary role for the duration of 2-3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various labour-intensive tasks on-site, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed, providing assistance to enhance workflow.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to minimise risk and ensure compliance.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly to maintain a safe working environment.
