Mechanical Fitters Required
As a Mechanical Fitter specializing in Equipment Installation, you will play a crucial role in the deployment and installation of mechanical systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and accurate installation of equipment at client sites, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Installation: Execute the installation of mechanical equipment, including but not limited to pumps, conveyors, compressors, and other industrial machinery.
- Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate and precise installation of equipment.
- Assembly and Alignment: Assemble components, align machinery, and ensure proper functioning according to design specifications.
- Precision Measurement: Utilize precision tools and instruments to measure, cut, and fit components with a high degree of accuracy.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues during installation, providing effective solutions to ensure equipment operates optimally.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure that all installed equipment meets the required standards and specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate installation activities and resolve any technical challenges.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment for yourself and others.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including reports, logs, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role, with a focus on equipment installation.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Precision measurement and alignment expertise.
