Pipefitter - Central London - £210 per day
Connect GRP UK Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Pipefitter to join their team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pipefitter to join a great team, and the successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive hourly rate of £210 per day and the potential to work for 4 weeks, with potentially longer work available if they get along well with the client.
Requirements:
- Experience working with screwed steel and soldering copper tubes
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Abrasive Wheels Certificate
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- SRM fit to work Certificate
- IPAF Preferred
Responsibilities:
- Installation of pipework
- Fitting of relevant valves, pumps and fixtures
- Installation of insulation and pipe supports
- Measure and cut pipes and other components to required sizes and shape
- Undertake necessary tests and commission of system
