Connect Grp UK are looking for a Skilled Tradesmen / Site Installer for a permanent job position for a leading Landscape, design and build client of ours.
Our client is looking for a motivated and hard-working individual who will enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-growing company and be able to work in a team.
This is an amazing opportunity for you to be able to progress within the company and to be able to work on some unique and prestigious projects in London and the surrounding areas.
On occasions you may be asked to work outside London so must be willing to travel.
Duties and responsibilities to be carried out on a day-to-day basis:
- Helping to maintain a clean and safe site.
- Importing and exporting of materials
- Be part of the team to assist the foreman and other installers
- Directing site operatives
- Have a can do and professional attitude towards clients, the public and trades on site.
- Be able to read scaled plans and drawings
- Must hold a valid clean drivers license to be able to drive company van (Over 25)
To be able to apply for this position you must meet the general requirements:
- Minimum 3 years on site experience
- CSCS card in associated trade
- Must have excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Ambitious and willing to progress and learn within the company
- Respond to taking directions well
- Respectful and well-mannered
- Verified trade specific skills and qualifications in one or all the following: Bricklaying, Paving, Timberworks, Groundworks, Landscaping.
- Good time management skills and punctual.
- Be willing to travel within the M25 and on occasion outside the M25
The Person:
- Experience in Hard and Soft Landscaping.
- Experience in Landscaping prestigious New Build, Residential and Commercial schemes in London and the UK
- Can work independently or in team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Financially literate
- Full UK driving license and be willing to travel if necessary
- Keen eye for detail and quality workmanship
