Connect Grp UK Ltd are pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for a Production Warehouse Operative with Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Tickets in the Aylesford area (ME20).
This is a manufacturing warehouse where you’ll be required to complete most aspects of production warehouse work.
Working Hours: 06:00-14:00 or 06:00-18:00 , 4 ON / 4 OFF (overtime available)
Temporary/Permanent Role: Temporary with a view to Permanent
Expected Duration: Ongoing / Full Time
Rate of Pay: £11.90 per hour + (dependant on experience and qualifications) N.B This Rate is Negotiable
To be considered for this warehouse operative position you will need to meet the following criteria:

Reach truck and Counterbalance licence (preferably both – reach is essential)

Ability to learn and operate an in-house computer system
-
Relevant experience within a warehouse environment, e.g. stock control
-
Good written and spoken English
-
Good numeracy skills
-
Good communication and team working skills
-
You need to be reliable, hardworking and have high level of attention to details

You should have the ability to work quickly, accurately and follow set routines
-
Team player, able to work as part of a team providing help and support to others both within the department and the organization as a whole
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
-
Maintain a high level of tidiness in the WH area and WH Yard and to remove any hazards or obstructions according to procedure

Complete daily requirements including – Daily dispatch, incoming goods, finished goods prep, production picking.

Assist with production daily requirements.
-
Complete any preparation of bulk and part goods for production.
-
Follow instructions as requested by the WH Supervisor & Team Leader.

Ensure daily FLT checks are complete and documented and report any defects to WH supervisor immediately.

Ensure all other Warehouse checks are completed as per rota.
-
Arrange for any production waste to be disposed of.

Assist with the requirements of the sampling room

Liaise with Customer Support and outside transport providers to ensure the smooth dispatch of customers’ orders

Any other reasonable task as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader and Production Manager

Working safely and follow all safety requirements
