Responsibilities

• Manage the electrical package through to completion
• Oversee programme delivery, subcontractors, and procurement
• Coordinate with project teams and client representatives
• Handle valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Manage QA, snagging, commissioning, and handover
• Review RAMS, technical submissions, and O&M documentation

Requirements

• Proven Electrical Project Management experience within M&E contracting
• Experience delivering projects of similar scale
• Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
• Education, healthcare, or commercial sector experience beneficial
• SMSTS and ECS/CSCS preferred

Work hours: 07.30am - 16.00pm (8.5hrs)

Day Rate: £260 per day

The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, preparation, and TIG and MIG welding of carbon steel pipework ranging from 2"-10" diameter. This role involves working from technical drawings, fabricating pipe spools, and carrying out high-quality welds to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
• TIG / MIG welding of carbon steel pipes (2"-10") to a high standard.

• Fabricating pipework, fittings, and assemblies from drawings or verbal instruction.

• Preparing and aligning pipework for welding and fit-up.

• Conducting quality checks to ensure weld integrity and compliance.

• Working safely and efficiently within workshop and site environments.

• Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work area.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a TIG and MIG Welder/Fabricator (pipework essential).

• Strong background in carbon steel welding and fabrication.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and isometrics.

• Competent in weld preparation, fit-up, and finishing.

• CSCS or CCNSG card (preferred).

• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Valid ID 
• Standard PPE

Duration: 6 Months+

We are looking for a reliable General Labourer to assist with an upcoming project in Colchester. Duties will include site preparation, moving materials, assisting tradespeople, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and carrying out general manual labour tasks as required. Previous site experience is preferred. Candidates must be hardworking, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.

Successful candidates will need the following when arriving to site:

• Valid CSCS/JIB Card
• Valid ID 
• Standard PPE

• Valid UK Passport 

• Asbestos awareness Certificate 

• Manual handling Certificate

• PPE Required - 5 point PPE - Please attend site in Safety work Boots, Work trousers, Plain t-shirt, Gloves, Safety Goggles, Helmet - Chinstrap not required, We'll provide the hi-vises.
